Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish  in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. 

So to be honest, this is my second year enjoying Fall because this year is also my second year living in Seoul~ and so far, Fall is my favourite season~ (because I can curl up with my blanket while enjoying my iced-coffee and good books at home or I can go out to walk in the park or enjoying any scenery Seoul has provided me and still not freezing or melting..)

Without further ado, this is my Top 10 Books that I want to read this Fall: (I had a hard time choosing only 10, like, really hard)

📖 The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw

Welcome to the cursed town of Sparrow…

Where, two centuries ago, three sisters were sentenced to death for witchery. Stones were tied to their ankles and they were drowned in the deep waters surrounding the town.

Doesn’t Fall give a spooky and witchy vibes? I think this will be a perfect book for that while siping some Fall drinks (yes, I am talking about that pumpkin-thingy)

📖 The Institute by Stephen King 

In the middle of the night, in a house on a quiet street in suburban Minneapolis, intruders silently murder Luke Ellis’s parents and load him into a black SUV. As psychically terrifying as Firestarter, and with the spectacular kid power of It, The Institute is Stephen King’s gut-wrenchingly dramatic story of good vs. evil in a world where the good guys don’t always win.

thriller? check. horror? check. fantasy? check. I think this will be the book that make me fall in love with Stephen King (I dislike Pet Sematary and hasn’t read any of his book since then)

📖 The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

Zachary Ezra Rawlins is a graduate student in Vermont when he discovers a mysterious book hidden in the stacks.  I was sold by the “mysterious book”.

📖 The Awakening (Vampire Diaries 01) by L.J. Smith

Elena is the school beauty, but she’s bored, until a new boy turns up in her class. Stefan is dark and mysterious—and she’s determined to get to know him better. But Stefan is just as determined to resist her... until a series of attacks in the area terrify the town and Stefan is held responsible. Elena is the only one who offers to help and, falling in love with her, Stefan tells her his terrible story. He is a vampire, on the run from his evil brother, Damon, who doesn’t share Stefan’s qualms about drinking human blood. And Damon is the one Stefan suspects of really being behind the recent attacks... Can Elena help prove his innocence—without revealing his secret?

I read this book years ago but still haven’t finished the series. So this witchy season, I decided to just read and finish the whole series. Wish me luck! (Oh I also wanted to watch the whole TV series but sadly, I still haven’t found time to do it)

📖 Rebel by Marie Lu

Legend trilogy was my favourite series back in 2014 and I am so excited to continue with this 4th instalment!

📖 The Toll by Neal Shusterman 

It’s been three years since Rowan and Citra disappeared; since Scythe Goddard came into power; since the Thunderhead closed itself off to everyone but Grayson Tolliver.

In this pulse-pounding conclusion to New York Times bestselling author Neal Shusterman’s Arc of a Scythe trilogy, constitutions are tested and old friends are brought back from the dead.

So sad to read this final book but also can’t wait to read, this series was my favourite last year, I loved everything in this.

📖 Frankly in Love by David Yoon

High school senior Frank Li is a Limbo–his term for Korean-American kids who find themselves caught between their parents’ traditional expectations and their own Southern California upbringing. His parents have one rule when it comes to romance–“Date Korean”–which proves complicated when Frank falls for Brit Means, who is smart, beautiful–and white. Fellow Limbo Joy Song is in a similar predicament, and so they make a pact: they’ll pretend to date each other in order to gain their freedom. Frank thinks it’s the perfect plan, but in the end, Frank and Joy’s fake-dating maneuver leaves him wondering if he ever really understood love–or himself–at all.

Sounds like a perfect light contemporary romance to read while enjoying Seoul’s view from Han River..

📖 Regretting You by Colleen Hoover

📖 Still Me by Jojo Moyes

I’ve been wanting to finish this series so I decided to just add this to my (kinda) realistic Fall TBR~

I will also read The Girl from The Well by Rin Chupeco on October because it was chosen as October book for Dragons and Tea Book Club. I loved The Ring and The Grudge so I think this will be a good book to read on Halloween month 👻
